This is valid also for people interested in installing a shoutcast radio streaming because the technique and configuration are exactly the sames.

This web and .ZIP file available in the "Downloads" section doesn't contain details or advanced configurations.

The idea is that you with minimum knowledge and resources can run your shoutcast radio in internet.

This articulate and the ZIP file are for the starting point of your project.

You need also a fixed public IP, or if your internet connection is standard ADSL you will need a dynamic dns or hostname.

For free hostname DNS I recommend you visit: http://www.dyndns.com or http://www.no-ip.com

They are specialized sites of great quality and dedicated to DNS services.

When you solve the IP or hostname, you will be ready to transmit via internet with your radio streaming.

Steps:

1) Go to the "Downloads" page and download: RadioSC.zip

2) Decompress directly in C:\, the folder C:\RadioSC is created automatically.

3) Inside that directory he found another zip file called: Winamp_ini_for_Windows_path.zip then decompress it in ANOTHER DIFFERENT FOLDER at C:\RadioSC because you would overwrite the existent Winamp.ini file located in C:\RadioSC, and move it to C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT according your operating system.

4) Click in the Sc_serv-48 shortcut:

5) Click in Winamp.exe, you will see winamp and the plugin as following image.
